Android has seen no shortage of Role Playing Games. From popular tittles such Zenonia to something less conventional such as Battleheart, its safe to say that level grinding on the go has reached new heights. Indie developers have also taken strides into the genre by fusing comedic elements into the script such as previous mentioned tittles. While not necessarily reaching new grounds, Digital Tales hopes to expand the genre with their latest release, Battleloot Adventure.
Along with characters wielding over sized noggins (for comedic effect of course), Battleloot Adventure will contain the familiar turn based combat with 8 “Big Headed” characters to choose from, each with their own unique skills and attributes. Other customization option includes allowing the player to change their teams physical appearance.
With the name Battleloot, there is sure to be a number of treasures for you to hoarde. Digital Tales teases with over 200+ gear will be available within the game. Along with weapons of destruction, expect the environment to play a role in battle engagement. From the video trailer above, it seems that most locales will provide unique environmental hazards that will work or against the players.
Battleloot Adventure takes place in amusingly named Kameloot spanning over 10 locales. The wealthy land is (surprisingly) threatened by creatures and bandits. The greatest danger however, seems to be from within, the ever inescapable taxes! While the story won’t inspire any sonnets, the comedic premise, quirky graphics and great RPG elements is sure to be a great addition to the genre. Expect Battleloot Adventure to hit Google Play store next month for free!
