In terms of new releases, this week was just ridiculous for Android. It’s almost as if Christmas came early exclusively on Google Play, with an absolute bounty of games.
The good news for you, is that it’s the weekend. So you have absolutely no excuse not to grab a few games off the list below and binge on them. We won’t judge.
Have a great weekend, Droid Gamers!
Best new games on Android: Injustice 2
DC’s gorgeous fighting franchise is back with a bigger and better instalment than before. You’ve got more heroes, modes, and moves to dig into, and you can grab Catwoman if you get in quick.
Grab it from Google Play.
Survival Arena
Survival Arena combines tower defence with Clash Royale. Build a deck of towers and heroes, then take it into a variety of PvE and PvP modes. There’s a ton to keep you busy here.

To the Moon
To the Moon tells the heartwarming story of a pair of doctors helping fulfil a dying patient’s last wish. Except not really, they’re just editing memories.
If you like pixel art JRPG adventures, grab it now from Google Play.
Ok Golf
It took a while for Ok Golf to come to Android, but it was well worth the wait. It’s a minimal, meditative golf simulator with some gorgeous courses to play through.
If you just want to chill and play some golf, grab it from Google Play.
Kill Shot Virus
Kill Shot Virus is a sort-of sequel to Kill Shot Bravo, except this time getting up close and personal is preferable to hanging back with a rifle. That’s because you’re facing zombies, rather than dudes with guns.
Go slay the undead on Google Play right now.
Bit Heroes
Bit Heroes is one of those idle collector RPGs we’ve all been addicted to before, but an MMORPG variant. You create an 8-bit character, then battle your way through a variety of dungeons, gathering loot, pets, and gold along the way.
It’s well worth a look in at Google Play right now.
Battle Islands: Commanders
Blitz Brigade: Rival Tactics may have failed to give Clash Royale a run for its money, but Battle Islands: Commanders may well do that in its stead. It plays similarly to Supercell’s genre-leader, except it’s based in WW2 and features a bunch of unique units.

Dungeon, Inc.
Dungeon, Inc. reminds us of the classic Dungeon Keeper. You have to tap to earn gold to expand your dungeon, recruit monsters, and unlock relics. It’s your classic clicker really, with a Dungeon Keeper skin.
Grab it right now from Google Play.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War
Right in time for the upcoming movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War lets you sail the seven seas alongside your favourite characters from the franchise. It’s all online as well, with you building a fleet to conquer all of your enemies.
