Black Clover M: Rise of the Wizard King has announced its EOS today. The game, which launched globally on November 30th, 2023, after a regional soft launch, is shutting down. It marks the end of the game’s nearly two-year run on mobile.
When is the Black Clover M EOS?
The EOS has been scheduled for August 20th, 2025, at 10:00 am. All paid item transactions will stop on June 20th. However, existing paid items, battle passes, and packs will still be usable until the shutdown in August.
The final content update is scheduled for June 25th. It includes new material inspired by the movie Black Clover: The Magic Emperor’s Sword. Two mages from the film will also join the game.
Also, black crystals (both paid and free) will be available at heavily discounted prices in the exchange, ranging from 1 to 10 black crystals. New account creation will also be suspended on June 25th following maintenance.
Once the game shuts down, you can apply for refunds on any unused paid black crystals. The refund process opens on August 20th and will remain available until November 17th, 2025.
Refunds will require specific information like your email address, nickname, AID, date of birth, and crystal count. Support services will also shut down around that time, with the help desk closing on November 17th, 2025.
Ever Played It?
The mobile RPG is built around the world of Black Clover from Shonen Jump and TV Tokyo. It has turn-based combat and character collection rooted in the anime’s narrative. You assemble squads of magic knights, advance their power levels, and aim for the title of Wizard King.
At launch, the game was praised for bringing the anime’s charm to mobile. But alas, that didn’t last long. Just like most other gachas of today, it quickly started receiving criticism for its character progression and mechanics.
Nonetheless, if you love the anime and want to see what the game has in store, you can find it on the Google Play Store.
