World of Warcraft players who are already using the Remote App by Blizzard to check the auction house and buy/sell on there are in for a treat. If you haven’t used it, you might want to consider it now as Blizzard is planning on adding remote Guild chat to the application. As the name suggests, you’ll be able to talk to guild members on your Android phone.
Essentially a real-time chat client, you’ll be able to talk to guild members from your phone while they are in-game and vise versa. The actual Remote App is free with basic functions for looking at the auction house in-game and things of that nature. You can opt-in for a $2.99/month subscription to have extra features enabled such as buy/bid/sell on the auction house and collect your goods.

Remote chat will be added to the application for users who have subscribed to the $2.99/month plan. If I actually played World of Warcraft anymore, I’d be inclined to get it as the $2.99 price seems a bit more reasonable now. You can grab the application off the Android Market and sign-up for the subscription on the official Remote App page.
