Boxbound: Package Puzzles is now available on Android. It’s a story of endless boxes developed and published by Curlew Studios. A satirical puzzle game, it’s Curlew’s third mobile game after Ninja Star and My Type.

What Do You Do in Boxbound: Package Puzzles?

You’re a warehouse worker stuck in an endless grind while the world outside is basically falling apart. Your only friend in this mess is Peter, your overworked co-worker. He’s somehow still functioning despite the chaos.

Boxbound: Package Puzzles keeps throwing packages at you. And while you’re sorting them out, political drama and economic disasters are playing out beyond the warehouse walls. Despite all that happening outside, nothing affects your job and you just keep working.

The game has an almost comical commitment to being endless. There are 9223372036854775807 levels! Yep, that’s a real number which is kind of hilarious. According to the devs, you’d have to spend about four billion lifetimes to get through it all if you did one level per second.

Peter is a highlight too. He brings his own quirks and, despite the stress, somehow keeps things together while switching up his outfits like it’s Fashion Week. Meanwhile, you’re left trying to figure out how to stack weird-shaped packages while wondering if the world outside is actually going to make it.

The Game Doesn’t Stick to Stacking Boxes

Boxbound: Package Puzzles also offers random challenges and mini-games. You’ll be sweeping trash and stacking boxes by lantern light during a power outage. If your delivery truck driver calls in sick, you even step in as the new driver, dodging obstacles on the way.

The game keeps changing up the scenarios so that it doesn’t feel repetitive, despite having an insane number of levels. And the combination of casual gameplay and hints of a deeper story makes it fun.

The game is oddly calming, even when everything’s going wrong. You also get leaderboards where you can compete with players worldwide. Check Boxbound: Package Puzzles out on the Google Play Store; it’s free to play.
