Broken Walls Studios has released a new action platformer onto Google Play called Abuga: Enter StrangeWorld. If you haven’t heard of Broken Walls Studios before, they usually deal with live wallpapers but have decided to branch out into game development. This is actually one of two action platformers that they have released recently, the other being An Indie Game.
In Abuga: Enter StrangeWorld you will be playing as the main character, Abuga, who has been randomly teleported to some strange world. To escape from it, you must guide your character through 10 levels, each varying in length and difficulty, collecting the orbs and overcoming obstacles while dealing with strange enemies. The game reminds me a little of Mega Man from way back in the day, mostly due to the custom the main character is wearing and how he looks when he jumps.
The visuals are a little on the rough side which you will see in the trailer below. Other than that though, Abuga: enter StrangeWorld is a pretty decent action platformer for your Android device. While it only sports 10 levels to get through, some of the levels can be pretty challenging. Be sure to collect the orbs along the way though as those are what opens the portal to get to the next level and, eventually, home.
If you are interested in checking this game out, you can grab a copy of Abuga: Enter StrangeWorld off of the Google Play store for $0.99. As we mentioned earlier, An Indie Game, which is themed around an Indiana Jones type of plot where you run continuously collecting gems, shooting enemies and so forth, is actually pretty good as well and is also available for $0.99. The visuals in An Indie Game are definitely more along the lines of an old school platformer.
