Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 available in English but only on the Samsung App Store

The last time we talked about Capcom and their Resident Evil 4 it was to let everyone know that it was available on Google Play but only for folks who happen to live in Japan or those of you who happen to use Market Enabler and can read Japanese. Well there is good news for everyone else who happen to not fall into either of those two categories, Resident Evil 4 is now available in English. However, there is one catch.

As you are probably guessing from the title of this article, Resident Evil 4 is indeed available in English now, you just have to own a Samsung device in order to be able to play it. For whatever particular reason, Capcom and Samsung have decided to make Resident Evil 4 exclusive to Samsung devices, at least for the time being. For those of you who are curious and are sitting there thinking that this version of the game looks familiar, that’s because it is pretty much identical to the iOS version that was released back in 2009.

This game has players facing all the monsters and other nasty creatures found in Ganado village. You’ll be working your way through the masses of monstrous flesh, mowing them down with your weapons, as you make your way to Sadler for the final battle. While this is almost an identical version to the iOS one, there is new exclusive content for this Android version such as the “Coin Shoot” and remixed mercenaries mode.

If you happen to have access to the Samsung Apps Store on your Samsung Android device, you can now pick up a copy of Resident Evil 4. As for when the rest of the world will get this game, no one really knows just yet.
