Neowiz has dropped a special Christmas update for Cats & Soup. It’s live now and is running until January 7th, 2026. The Sugar Plum Fairy’s Forest theme wraps the entire setting in pastel lights, soft sparkles and sweet delicacies.
The Cats & Soup Christmas update brings new NPC moments and Easter eggs
The Sugar Plum Fairy’s Forest theme shifts the camp into something that resembles a storybook Christmas crossed with a candy shop. Alongside it comes a new face, the Powdered Sugar Maine Coon. He’s a limited-edition cat that looks sculpted out of cotton candy.
You can bring Coon home through the Observatory or by sending the crew on Kitty Trips. Baby Kitty content expands, too, with six new limited travel destinations and two new costumes.
The Sugar Plum Festival Event is the new seasonal event. The Magical Christmas Week Login Event hands out daily items like gems, costumes, and Observatory Tickets.
Several themed rewards are available. They include the Sugar Plum Fairy’s Forest theme, a new friend called Sugarcoated Alpaca, and the event-exclusive White Christmas Tree facility. Baby Kitty gets another treat through a new Christmas-themed magnetic board added to its travel destinations.
The team has added a new permanent feature, too
It’s the miniroom community boards. They allow you to save, post, browse and borrow layouts, making it easier to swap ideas without having to rebuild everything from scratch.
Two additional facilities are also available, which are Making Cacao and Drinking Cocoa. Meanwhile, from December 18th to January 7th, the in-game store will also open sales for a Gems Package and a Season Exclusive Package. The latter contains Magical Christmas-themed costumes, friends, and facility skins.
