2K is launching Season 2 of Civilization: Eras & Allies, bringing a Modern Era to the game. It’s rolling out today across Asia for both Android and iOS. Now, you’ll get to see new technologies and a season-long celebration with Summerfest.

Have been commanding your empire through ancient strategies? It’s time to recalibrate!

Seven legendary figures from different corners of history are entering the game. Napoleon, Queen Elizabeth I, Sanada Yukimura, Ryu Seong-ryong, Cyrus the Great, Nebuchadnezzar, and Queen Gudit are joining the hero roster.

The biggest structural addition in the Modern Era of Civilization: Eras & Allies is the Governor System. You can assign alliance members to govern occupied cities. Governors can manage construction, bring in up to 30 citizens, and gradually unlock alliance-wide buffs as their cities develop.

Helicopters, Mobile SAMs, and Hypersonic Missiles are now on the battlefield. Meanwhile, they’ve expanded the Triumph Shop. You’ll find new limited-time items including Avatars, Avatar Frames, Chat Bubble Frames, and a new Envoy item.

Civilization: Eras & Allies brings the Modern Era with a Summerfest

The Summerfest celebration kicks off alongside the new season and runs from July 24th to August 13th. There’s a 7-Day Login Event that gives out Recruit Tokens, Gold, and City Blueprints.

The Festive Cheers feature offers daily Gold rewards just for greeting other players in World Chat. Also, a new Saladin Skin called Arabian Nights is available exclusively during Summerfest. You’ll also get to pick up the Atlantis City Skin.

Of course, not everything carries over with the new season. While some progress resets, key resources like Diamonds and Gold are preserved. The devs recommend checking the in-game banner to know more about it.

Grab the game from the Google Play Store to experience the Modern Era.
