Undoubtedly, it’s a merge-based strategy game. You collect over 50 unique mushroom heroes, group them into squads, and fuse them to create stronger fighters with new abilities.
Each hero comes with their own faction associated with a particular colour. Synergies in this game are about blending the right hues together to unlock devastating effects.
Battles play out in auto-chess style, but the placement of heroes and how you merge them determines your victory and wipeout. Hitting the 100-star threshold for fully evolved characters turns them into absolute powerhouses.
There’s an AFK system baked in, so your heroes continue to grow even when you’re offline. It’s an idle strategy RPG with tactical depth.
You can upgrade, awaken, and star-up champions to push their skill trees further. The altar and artefact systems provide additional buffs and customisation.
Color x Warriors: Merge War offers a variety of modes
There are global PvP rankings and challenging PvE campaigns. Roguelike adventures are also there, giving you unpredictable runs each time you dive in.
