Motion Twin has revealed the roadmap of coming updates for its acclaimed “roguevania” platformer Dead Cells. The developer has also slashed the game’s price by half.
The mobile version of Dead Cells will be brought alongside the other versions this fall with a Legacy update. Version 1.6 will feature Boss Cell 5, new biomes, bosses, weapons, skills, mutations, and more.
After that, Dead Cells will get a Bad Seed DLC pack in early 2021, with new mushrooms, spores, and weapons. Then, in summer 2021 it’ll get yet another update, with details to be confirmed.
Dead Cells came to mobile fairly recently, and it’s just as highly acclaimed on Android as it is on every other platform, with an impressive 4.7 average review score from over 10,000 reviews.
