Defcon Studios unleashes their mech filled platformer Iron Jack 2

Developers at Defcon Studio (which used to be estudio256 back in the day) teased us a few months ago with their game Iron Jack, an awesome robot themed platformer which eventually never arrived onto Google Play. Now, reinvigorated and coming back since their latest release (a free space shooter called Diagnosis Assault), they have released a sequel called Iron Jack 2: a free platformer that is looking to stand out with its superb graphics and really takes free to play as a complete option and not just another pocket farming strategy.

“Accidents happen to the very best, and today is your “lucky” day. You are Iron Jack, a space-faring, cargo-carrying robot, and you have just lost your entire shipment of fuel due to a simple glitch in the system.”

Keeping the classic post-accident niche alive (mostly remembered with every single Zombie game out there), Iron Jack 2 sets out in a series of maze riddled sectors where you must recollect all the fuel cells that got lost. Your bad ass robot uses its jetpack to make it possible, by flying all across the levels in a swift way. You also own a nice explosive power ti use should you feel like blowing up everything possible, including those nasty big enemies you’ll stumble on every now and then.

Iron Jack 2 Features:

– Easy and intuitive gameplay, that gets pretty hard if you want to get those 3 stars ranks you love so much.
– 60 levels divided across 3 sectors.
– 10 weapons!
– 8 power-ups
– Immersive music and 3D graphics
– Achievements & Cross platform world ranking

If one is to go a little further in the graphics and physics department, one can really see a whole underground processing going on, since the game not only has four different graphic settings (that can really suck on that processor of yours) but also makes a nice realistic scene with its physics and collisions effects. All of that comes along with some hilarious and sometimes completely out of topic references and in-game props, as well as a nice and properly ambient soundtrack.

Finally, Iron Jack 2 is available for free on Google Play, aided with In-App Purchases intended to buy the not so hard to obtain in-game currency. You can also take a look at their previous game if you want some more shooting action.
