Back in August of this year we reported on what the next release from DotEmu would be, which turned out to be a four-in-one deal with a package called Raiden Legacy. As you may be guessing, this release will contain four Raiden games stuffed into one package for all of you arcade shooter fans to drool over. Since then all has been quite as to when Raiden Legacy would be arriving, until now that is.
The fine folks over at DotEmu have let the cat out of the bag and have announced that Raiden Legacy will be arriving on Android and iOS on December 4th, 2012. The pack will come with the original Raiden of course, but will also contain three other installments into the series: Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters II and Raiden Fighters Jet.
In case you happen to be unfamiliar with the Raiden series and the storyline behind it, essentially everything is about Earth being invaded by aliens and to defend Earth the World Alliance Military releases a new weapon called the Raiden. You get to play as one of the Raiden pilot and fly out to kill as many of the aliens as you can in order to save Earth.
When Raiden Legacy is released onto Android December 4th, 2012, it will include all four games at the time of launch. No word on pricing just yet.
