[Updated] Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave now available for free to all Android users

Our friends over at Trendy Entertainment have just announced that Dungeon Defenders; Second Wave is now available to all Android users for free. This new ‘wave’, or sequel depending on which term you like to use, features a completely revamped user interface and much more.

This release is to celebrate the milestone of breaking over one million online players of Dungeon Defenders as well as the launch of Dungeon Defenders onto console systems. Still built on the Unreal Engine, and still featuring up to four players in co-op multiplayer mode across Android, PC and iOS, this sequel comes with some great new features and improvements.

Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave features completely new campaign content, redesigned controls to better suit mobile devices and a completely revamped user interface to better fit mobile screens. That’s not all though! The level cap has also been raised to level 80 and a new PvP Arena mode that you can play. In order to unlock the PvP Arena mode though there is a one-time fee of $4.99 via an in-game purchase. Those of you who don’t PvP don’t need to worry about it.

It may take you a minute to get used to them at first. Also with this release, Trendy Entertainment is gearing up to allow for complete cross-platform compatibility when playing with other people across all platforms which will include PS3 players.

“If people have issues to NOT uninstall the application without backing up their save data. We are working on fixing this now, but if they uninstall it will delete their saves since saves are saved locally.”

So fear not, they are working on a fix right now! Just don’t uninstall anything.
