Epic Games Store is giving away two popular mobile titles this week, including Monument Valley 2. It follows last week’s freebie, Monument Valley (the first). Meanwhile, the other free game is The Battle of Polytopia.

Though Epic promised two free games per week on mobile, it hasn’t always delivered exactly two every week. Over the past few weeks, it has been giving away only one free game per week.
Another thing to note here is that The Battle of Polytopia is free to download and play on any mobile store. The caveat is that you get limited tribes and no multiplayer options. So, it being free on the Epic Games Store is good, but maybe not a ‘yay’ moment.
So, when can you grab Monument Valley 2 and The Battle of Polytopia for free on the Epic Games Store mobile app? The exact duration is September 11th to September 18th, 2025, till 8:30 pm. Android players worldwide can claim the games.
Both games need no introduction
Monument Valley 2 is developed by ustwo games and continues the series’ reputation for striking puzzle design and dreamlike visuals. The story follows Ro and her child on a journey navigating impossible architecture. It explores themes of motherhood and independence.
The Battle of Polytopia is a turn-based 4X strategy game developed by Midjiwan AB. Its colourful low-poly art style contrasts sharply with its gameplay. You choose one of 16 tribes and set out to expand their territory. The game offers multiple modes depending on how you want to play.
So, check out the free games on the Epic Games Store app on mobile. Launched on mobile in January 2025, the Epic Free Games program started with monthly giveaways. But later, in March, they moved to weekly freebies.
