While we sit here patiently waiting for a few games time finally be released for Android such as Modern Combat 3 and Dungeon Hunter 3, Gameloft is filling up their time trying to coax us into buy one of the few games they have been releasing that are straight Java ports. Today’s new port comes in the form of a game called Immortals.
Immortals is a side-scrolling action game that is themed around Roman and Greek mythology where such creatues as Titans and Minotaurs roam around freely. You will be hacking and slashing your way through seven levels of similar themed monsters as you play the character of Theseus. The goal is to fight your way through all the monsters in order to stop King Hyperion and of course in the process saving both the fate of humans and gods alike.

As you can tell from the screenshots, this is another direct port of their Java game which seems to be the going trend these days with Gameloft while we wait for an actual game to be released. For those of you who do want to check this out, you can nab it off the Android Market for $2.99.
