Talk about an unusual crossover! It’s Genshin Impact and Duolingo collaborating for an event, pulling Teyvat’s cast into the realm of language lessons. You need to keep up with language study for a few days in exchange for in-game collectibles.
What’s in store in the Genshin Impact x Duolingo collab?
The collaboration runs from December 8th to December 27th. It’s a short but structured Genshin Impact x Duolingo 3-Day Streak Quest that brings daily learning tasks and rewards. Paimon is stepping in as a temporary study buddy alongside Tighnari, Cyno, and Duolingo’s green owl Duo.
The setup is similar to Duolingo’s lesson flow. Beginning December 8th, the Genshin Impact Quest becomes available across any course on the app. And all that’s required is the completion of one unit lesson per day for three consecutive days.
Keeping the streak alive gradually unlocks a collectible in-app statue of Paimon and Duo. Throughout the quest, appearances from Paimon, Tighnari, Cyno, and Duo add some character-driven encouragement for your units.

Finishing the three-day run delivers several other exclusive Genshin Impact items. It includes the avatar Diligent Study and the namecard Celebration: Dream Reader. A Sumeru-inspired dish called Spiced Fried Chicken along with its recipe and a Primogem reward are also part of the bundle.
Duolingo users can claim the necessary redemption code from the Shop page in the app anytime before December 30th, 2025. Meanwhile, the actual redemption in Genshin Impact remains valid until January 31st, 2026. December 25th is the final day to start the quest and still be eligible for rewards.
