Following Genshin Impact’s huge December update, which added a whole new region called Dragonspine to the game, developer miHoYo has announced the next content drop: a new story quest for Ganyu.
The quest, entitled Sinae Unicornis Chapter, will be available tomorrow, and permanently thereafter. To play it, you’ll need to be at Adventure Rank 40 or higher, and to have completed the Archon Quest chapter 1: Act III – A New Star Approaches.
In addition to the new quest there’s also a new Ganyu banner, called Adrift in the Harbor, which will be available from tomorrow until the 2nd of February.
In case you’ve somehow missed it, Genshin Impact is a vast and ambitious gacha RPG that looks like Breath of the Wild if you squint. It launched last year amid huge fanfare, and ended up winning dozens of Game of the Year gongs, including one from Google.
It made about a trillion dollars, too. Fortunately, you don’t have to contribute to that total because Genshin Impact is free to download. You can grab it right now on the Google Play Store.
