Ghosts of Memories is an upcoming puzzle game allowing for dimensional travel between two realms

There is a new puzzle game coming to mobile devices soon called Ghosts of Memories. This particular game takes a little inspiration from Monument Valley, although it looks like the developers want to try and rival the popular game from ustwo. Definitely an interesting task to try and accomplish.

In this game players will be following the story of a lone wanderer from an empty world who finds a mysterious scepter that holds the power to travel across dimensions. At first you just use the scepter to roam around, but later on a woman’s voice starts coming from the scepter, telling you what to do and where to go. The voice is actually attached to a being trapped in a distant land and needs help escaping, which you are suddenly drawn into helping her do just that.

In total players will be traveling through 4 different worlds across 15 different chapters as you seek out this trapped being to rescue her and learn about how she got trapped in the first place. You will need to travel between both realms, solving the puzzle in each stage to progress to the next. However, the actions you do in one world affect the other world, so you do have to be careful with what you do in each realm.

Apparently, sometimes you need to take one step back to move two steps forward, which gives a great sense of fun and engagement. – Aleksander Lusina from Paplus International

Ghosts of Memories has an isometric view to it as well, with some pretty solid visuals complimenting it all, otherwise known as 2.5D. Apparently everyone who takes a look at this game compares it to Monument Valley in its styling. As for when you can get your hands on it, Ghosts of Memories will be landing on mobile devices on October 16th. In the meantime, you can check out the screenshot for the game as well as the trailer for it below. We did talk to the developers about this game during Gamescom 2015, but couldn’t post about it until now.
