Back in January of this year Glu Mobile announced that a sequel to Gun Bros would be heading our way at some point in the relatively near future. It seems as though today is that future as Gun Bros 2 has made its way quietly onto the Google Play store and this time the game comes with multiplayer right at launch instead of in a future update like with the original game.
Gun Bros 2 doesn’t stray too far from the mechanic of the original game, at least regarding the core mechanics. This is still a dual-joystick shooter with hordes of enemies coming at you that you will need to blast into pieces with a variety of weaponry. You are still defending the universe against T.O.O.L but this time you have even more weapons, plenty of which are new, new Mods to enhance your weapons with and tanks because… well… why the hell not?

Players will have to deal with big bosses as well as the little swarms of annoying enemies. Thankfully you have an endless multiplayer mode where you can play with your bros in real-time co-op multiplayer in order to get your fix of shooting everything in sight non-stop.
If you played the first Gun Bros game then you will probably want to check this new sequel out. For those of you new to the franchise, now is a good time to jump into it. Gun Bros 2 can be downloaded off of Google Play for free and contains IAPs similar to that of the first game.
