The over 1000 titles in the Ouya’s game library may be coming to set top boxes in China through a $10 Million investment from Alibaba, a Chinese e-commerce company.
Alibaba executives “expressed interest” in using the Ouya’s library in their set top boxes.
The set-top boxes coming from Alibaba are in an effort to capitalize on the recent lifting of a video game console ban in China. The market has been filled with many other set-top boxes with gaming capabilities since the ban ended. Alibaba has previously invested in other American businesses including game company Kabam.
