Hearthstone is taking you on a time-twisting adventure with its new expansion, Across the Timeways. It’s set to launch on November 4th. The expansion centres around Chromie of the Bronze Dragonflight, who discovers that time itself is under threat.
What’s Chromie’s story?
From her post at the Temporal Conflux, she finds that Murozond is meddling with the flow of time. The corrupted Lord of the Infinite, he’s steering every timeline toward a doomed future.
To stop this catastrophe, Chromie travels across eras and dimensions. She brings together 11 legendary heroes from different ages of Warcraft to fight by her side.
Across the Timeways introduces two major keywords to Hearthstone. The first, Fabled, lets you summon iconic heroes from Warcraft’s past, future, and alternate timelines.
Each class gets its own Fabled hero, such as Sylvanas or Gelbin. Also, these Legendary cards come with bonus cards that automatically slot into your deck.
The second keyword is Rewind, bringing literal time manipulation into play. It allows you to replay cards with random effects, giving you another shot at reshaping your fate.
New cards like Timeway Warden can imprison a minion for an absurd 10,000 turns. Meanwhile, Divergence splits a single minion into two alternate versions.
Across the Timeways marks the return of Timelord Nozdormu to Hearthstone!
Timelord Nozdormu’s presence connects to the lore of the Timeways, the magical corridors that link every version of reality in the Warcraft universe. The Bronze Dragonflight, led by Nozdormu and his cheerful gnome form Chromie, are their protectors.
Unfortunately, their greatest threat comes from within, as Nozdormu’s future self is none other than Murozond. His fear of death turns him into the very villain he seeks to stop, creating the Infinite Dragonflight and trying to reshape reality into the barren End Time.
You can claim a few promotional cards for free. Logging in now rewards the Legendary Mister Clocksworth. And you can earn Portal Vanguard and a Signature Robocaller through an in-game event. So, grab the game from the Google Play Store and get going!
