Pokémon Go is back with another Halloween celebration, and this year, it’s brewing up tea for a haunted tea party. The party starts from October 21st at 10:00 a.m. and runs until October 27th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

Who’s invited to the haunted tea party in Pokémon Go?

You are, of course. The party stars Poltchageist and Sinistcha, the Matcha Pokémon, marking their debut in the game. Their arrivals bring a fresh kind of ghostly energy to the event, with Poltchageist evolving into Sinistcha using 50 Candy. You might also spot Shiny Sinistea for the first time in Pokémon Go during the event.

The Halloween 2025 Go Pass adds more rewards as hitting major milestones unlocks special bonuses across three tiers. Tier 1 gives double Catch Candy, or triple if you’ve got the Go Pass Deluxe.

Tier 2 boosts the chance for trainers level 31 and above to receive Candy XL from successful throws. Lastly, Tier 3 doubles the Candy you earn from transferring Pokémon and raises the odds of receiving Candy XL.

Out in the wild, Zorua, Hisuian Zorua, Greavard, and Sinistea will be haunting the map. And their shiny forms might show up under the right light.

The Halloween vibe continues through the Raid lineup

One-Star Raids feature Galarian Yamask, Sinistea, and Poltchageist. Three-Star Raids turn up the difficulty with Alolan Marowak and Hisuian forms of Typhlosion and Samurott.

Even more unsettling are the Shadow Raids, as Shadow Yamask and Shadow Phantump are making their debut. Field Research encounters that include Sableye, Yamask, Zorua, Hisuian Zorua, Litwick, Vullaby, and Phantump. A few lucky trainers might even run into Spiritomb.

Completing the festivities is the iconic Lavender Town music. It’s making a return with the haunted tea party in Pokémon Go as a remix that plays every night during the event. Watch the video right below.
