The Emerald Dream is about to open its doors in Hearthstone. Magical but dangerously twisted, the expansion is launching on March 25th and bringing 145 new cards with fresh mechanics and new legendary Wild Gods.
What’s Happening in This Expansion?
Ysera’s tranquil realm, the heart of all Nature magic, is under threat. So, you can either defend its beauty or embrace the chaos.
The new keyword for the Into the Emerald Dream expansion is Imbue. If you play as a Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest or Shaman, you’ll get the blessings of the World Tree.
The first time you play an Imbue card, your Hero Power transforms into something stronger, tailored to your class. Every time you use another Imbue card, your Hero Power gets even better.
For example, Hunters get the Blessing of the Wolf. Meanwhile, other classes just have to watch in envy because if you’re not in the chosen six, Imbue does absolutely nothing for you.
On the flip side, if being a protector of nature isn’t your vibe, the Old Gods have a different kind of deal for you. Dark Gifts is an enticing, corruption-filled new keyword that tempts Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Warlock and Warrior players with raw power.
They are twisted enhancements that sync up with Discover options, letting you create nightmare-fueled minions that can wreak havoc. There are 10 different Dark Gifts in The Emerald Dream expansion of Hearthstone.

The expansion also has The Wild Gods. These legendary minions are colossal forces of nature, and each class gets one to rally behind. Some of them have already fallen to corruption, making for an interesting split between those who fight for the Dream and those who are ready to drag it into a Nightmare.
