Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5

Before Season 5 even begins, there’s a special treat with the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. It’s making its grand debut ahead of its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. And when the season officially launches, Glavenus and Arzuros will also enter the game.

Weapons are getting balance tweaks aimed at making every weapon type more viable and fun to use. The Sword & Shield is getting a buff that makes it easier to target breakable parts like tails. While the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward well-timed taps with stronger performance giving more satisfying combos.

Meanwhile, the Guard skill is getting a boost. Before, levelling up Guard barely made a difference, but now, higher skill levels will actually reduce damage taken when blocking. More tweaks are on the way which will be revealed on March 6th’s full patch notes.

And There Is More!

If you’ve ever felt like your inventory is constantly overflowing, Monster Hunter Now Season 5 brings good news. An Item Box Expansion will be available as a Supply Item. It will give you an extra 250 slots to work with.

And lastly, a new feature is rolling out on March 17th as part of Monster Hunter Now’s 1.5-Year Anniversary. It will let you trade special materials earned from hunts and events for some awesome rewards. Expect to see things like Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts and Wyvern Gem Shards up for grabs.

So, gear up for the new season by getting the game from the Google Play Store.
