Here’s Everything That’s Coming in Genshin Impact’s 2.0 Update

It’s a pretty big deal when you turn 2.0, as any screaming toddler will tell you. And the same is true for gorgeous, cross-platform ARPGs, like Genshin Impact. And developer MiHoYo has just revealed everything that’s coming in the massive update.

The update is called The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia, which is a bit of a mouthful, and it’ll take players to a brand new region called Inazuma, which is located across the sea.

There are new bosses and enemies to take on when you land in the new continent, as well as loads of shiny new loot to collect. And on top of that, there are three new characters. We’ll get to them next, but first – it’s trailer time.

So, new characters. Kamisato Ayaka is a 5-star Cryo sword-wielder. Then there’s another 5-star character – Yoimiya, who is a Cryo archer. Lastly there’s a 4-star character in the shape of Sayu, who’s a ninja with an Anemo Vision and a huge claymore. Neato.

Perhaps most interestingly, the new update is also going to include new cross-save functionality. That means you’ll be able to pick up where you left off whether you’re playing on mobile, PC or PlayStation. Double neato.

The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia is set to launch on the Play Store on July 21st, so you’ve not got long to wait for it. If you haven’t played Genshin Impact yet, you can click here to download it for free for Android.
