HoYoverse has announced that Version 3.6 of Honkai: Star Rail is coming soon. Titled Back to Earth in Evernight, it goes live on September 24th, 2025. The update sees the return of familiar Astral Express faces, but in new forms.
Evernight and Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae officially joining the playable lineup in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.6. If you’ve reached Trailblaze Level 3 or above, you’ll be able to claim him for free for a limited time.
What’s the story?
It takes Trailblazers back to Amphoreus, which finds itself at a turning point. Miss Evernight reveals her vision of what she calls Era Nova, a path that strays from the usual creed of salvation.
Alongside her, Dan Heng prepares for another return to Amphoreus. He’s determined to face the risks that come with reuniting with the Express Crew.
Evernight is now a 5-star Ice character on the Path of Remembrance. She represents the forgotten past of March 7th and is built around synergy with memosprites. When she summons her memosprite Evey, she gains Memoria stacks, boosting Evey’s power until it takes action to strike all enemies.
The other major highlight of Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.6 is Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae. A new form of the Astral Express member who once carried the Azure Dragon’s Imbibitor Lunae powers. Now following the Path of Permanence, he brings defensive strength to teams.
With his Ultimate, Dan Heng deals damage to all enemies. He enhances the Souldragon and allows it to perform follow-up attacks that scale with the Bondmate’s abilities. From the start of his Warp until the end of Version 4.0, players at Trailblaze Level 3 or higher can grab him for free just by logging in.

What else is new?
Version 3.6 debuts the new high-difficulty mode Anomaly Arbitration. This trial features three stages and one final challenge and requires you to create three different teams to progress. Clearing all stages unlocks rewards, including the new Interference Key.
Other events will also roll out gradually. One of them is Nice Weather for Dromases, where you raise dromas creatures. Another is Colorful Mayhem, a multiplayer event. So, get the game from the Google Play Store as there’s plenty of things to do.
