After weeks of players asking for answers, Infinity Nikki’s dev team has finally broken their silence. If you play the game, you know how rocky the Version 1.5 rollout was. It just felt half-baked, and now the team has admitted that they weren’t ready for launch. The outcome of all this? Team Infinity Nikki delays Version 1.6.

When Is the Update Releasing?

Version 1.5 was released on April 28th, while Version 1.6 was supposed to release on June 4th. It has officially been pushed back to June 12th. Until then, the current Bubble Season is being stretched out.

So, all its events like Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? are sticking around until June 12th. Stores like Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event are also staying open until then. Weekly tasks like Starlit Pursuit, originally set for May 20th, have been pushed to Version 1.6 too.

The devs have apologized and mentioned struggling with performance across platforms including PS. Apparently, they’re refining gameplay systems and has promised that missing storylines like Threads of Reunion haven’t been scrapped, just delayed.

Apart from the Version 1.6 Delays, What’s Up with Infinity Nikki?

Lately, the game has been full of bugs, broken quests and co-op malfunctions. For damage control, they’re offering compensation with 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day from June 5th to June 12th. You’ll have to log in daily to claim it.

Some players are calling it a desperate move to boost engagement metrics after their blunders. Players are also disappointed because the apology message was barely out before promo banners for new outfits started flooding in.
