Infinix has announced a new gaming phone, the GT 30 Pro. It’s for a target audience who want solid performance without having to shell out a fortune. Here are more details about this new gadget.
What Are the Specs?
The GT 30 Pro runs on the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate from MediaTek. It’s a decent chip that holds up well for gaming. The screen is a 6.78-inch AMOLED with a 144Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It hits up to 1,600 nits brightness and has Gorilla Glass 7i for protection. There’s also an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 13MP front camera.
Infinix has added shoulder triggers to GT 30 Pro as well. They are actual capacitive ones, which are low-latency and support remapping. It’s generally useful for games that need fast reactions.
Next, you get up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. On the back, there’s a 108MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide. The battery is 5,500mAh in most regions, but some will get a slightly smaller 5,200mAh one.
Charging is 45W wired and 30W wireless. Bypass charging is supported too, so the phone doesn’t heat up as much during long gaming sessions.
Infinix GT 30 Pro runs on XOS 15 based on Android 15, and includes some built-in AI tools powered by DeepSeek R1. It’s also IP64-rated, so it can handle dust and light splashes.
Lastly, the back of the phone has a pretty loud design with sharp lines and RGB lighting. They call it Cyber Mecha Design 2.0. The phone comes in three colours, which are Blade White, Shadow Ash, and Dark Flare. Take a look at it in this promotional video right here.
What Do You Think About Infinix GT 30 Pro?
Infinix has also announced an accessory called the MagCharge Cooler — a magnetic fan that clips to the back and helps keep the phone cool. They claim it makes cooling about 30 per cent more efficient.
Meanwhile, only time will tell how the phone will perform, and if it will be worth buying. As for the price, in the USA, the GT 30 Pro is expected to cost $489 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. While the version with 512GB storage might cost $529.
