Kaiju No. 8 The Game has added Soshiro Hoshina, making his debut as a playable 5-star character. His arrival in the game comes right on the heels of his story arc in Episode 22 of the Kaiju No. 8 anime, which aired on September 20th.
Soshiro Hoshina is the vice-captain of the Third Division of the Defense Force and a member of the Hoshina Family. Just like the anime, where he was seen fighting alongside Kaiju No. 10, you’ll see him wielding the Identified Kaiju Weapon Numbers 10 in the game.

Alongside [United Front] Soshiro Hoshina, you get a chance to summon the 5-star weapon SW-Susanoo. It’s the twin swords that fit perfectly with his combat style.
The developers have also added a new chapter to the game’s narrative under the Story > Characters section. It lets you follow Hoshina’s journey as he struggles with a weapon that has a will of its own.

To celebrate the launch of [United Front] Soshiro Hoshina, Kaiju No. 8 The Game has rolled out a login bonus event. It’s handing out up to 10 gacha tickets for free. They are split into 5 THE GAME Gacha Tickets and 5 Pickup Gacha Tickets.
The game launched earlier this month, while just two weeks ago, it introduced the Dimensionally Distorted Destiny Sagan Shinomiya. And now, with Hoshina, the game continues to run in sync with its anime counterpart.
