Ironhide Game Studio has revealed the release date for their next instalment, Kingdom Rush Battles: TD Game. In case you’ve missed it, this title is quite a special one. After more than a decade of single-player campaigns, for the first time, Kingdom Rush is going multiplayer!
Speaking of the release date, Kingdom Rush Battles: TD Game, will be landing on mobile on October 9th, 2025. It will be the seventh game of the hit tower defense franchise. Pre-registrations for Kingdom Rush Battles are already open on Android.
No more bots!
This time, instead of marching through waves of AI-driven goblins and orcs, players will be throwing their defenses against each other in real-time PvP duels. Facing another person on the other side of the battlefield was a much-needed feature in Kingdom Rush, if you ask me.
Kingdom Rush Battles: TD Game introduces ranked competitive matches and timed events. Heroes from previous entries return, alongside fresh champions. Matches will be fast-paced two-player fights where every decision counts.
You’ll be juggling castle defenses, spell casting, reinforcement timing, and counterattacks while trying to ruin your opponent’s setup. The familiar tasks of building towers and holding the line stay intact, but you also have to push the assault in this one.
There are 18 different towers to combine into strategies, ranging from classic archers and mages to barbarians and eccentric scientists. You can recruit 11 heroes and unleash 9 spells.
Arenas cover 9 different landscapes, from forest maps and snowy peaks to the Stadium, the ultimate proving ground. The game also has over 30 enemy types, 6 boss fights, and 26 wave modifiers.

The game has decks to upgrade, daily and weekly missions to clear, and rewards through battle chests. Matches also come with a lighter side through in-game emotes, letting you taunt, celebrate, or rage in the middle of a clash.
