Of course we will keep watching the Play Store, and will provide you with updated information as soon as we hear that the game has launched. In celebration of coming close to the finish line, Koukoi Games has released a new 2-minute long trailer giving tips on how to play the game. The trailer is humorous and informative. If you can’t tell already, this is a game we will install immediately upon release. You can find the latest trailer below. Enjoy!

UPDATE: Tuesday, April 19th – 7:04 AM, PST: We first reported on Crashing Season in December of last year. A few months have passed and a little bit of news has come out here and there. Today, Koukoi Games has released a trailer worldwide for the game that will be released at the end of May. The game will be coming out for Android and iOS. While it seems like it has been a long wait, next month isn’t too far away at this point. We are still excited about Crashing Season, and we will let you know once it hits the Google Play Store. Those of you who have had an opportunity to participate in the soft launch, sound off in the posts and let us know what you think of it. The new trailer can be found at the end of this article.

I have been keeping my eyes on the development of a beautiful little game called Crashing Season for a few months. The first screenshots that I came across made me scratch my head a bit. When there are so many games going for ultra-detailed environments, it is always interesting to see a game developer go in the opposite direction. Crashing Season is doing just that, but it is putting the detail in all the right places. The game has just the right amount of character, color, detail and an absurdly interesting story, that would be quite frightening if it were to come true.

“The game’s story is very simplified but cleverly appealing. In Crashing Season evil hunters and their bosses have destroyed the money vault of the animals in their quest for world dominance. The mission is simply to collect all the coins back and try to take over the world while beating all the vicious hunters and bosses on the way. Players’ goal is to survive as long as possible, complete challenges fore animal character, fight against relentless hunters and challenging bosses, collect coins to open up new exciting levels, and unlock more characters with unique abilities.” – Koukoi Games

I am quite enamored with the art direction that this game is taking. Though the style is being used more and more these days, it is good to see it implemented well. The fact that you get to play many different animals, is a nice approach to the game, and it should make it interesting for quite a while.

The trailer for the game is wonderfully-crafted. In it, you will see various animals taking out their anger on the hunters in an open-world type setting. It appears you will have full control of the animals in various settings. The goal of course, is to gather as many coins as possible, but at the same time, you are able to wreak havoc on the hunters and the environments. It looks like it is going to be a blast to play!

Crashing Season is currently soft-launched in Canada and Australia. The game is only available for Android right now. We don’t know if it will eventually make its way to iOS. The game is free to play and does include optional in-app purchases. We are trying to find out how soon the game will be released worldwide. The good thing is that the game is already soft-launched, so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long. If you are in Canada or Australia (You are lucky!), you can find the link to download the game below. Check out the trailer for Crashing Season, and let us know in the posts if you are going to check it out. If you are in Canada or Australia, let us know what you think of the game. As soon as we have more information about the release date, we will pass it along to you.
