Our weekly series of what we are playing has been transformed and Larry, the incredible edible squirrel as well like to call him, has fully taken it over. So from now on it will be named as Larry’s Play Corner where Larry will give you a quick rundown of a couple of games he’s playing each week, sometimes twice a week, giving you a glimpse at some lesser known titles you might want to check out.

City of Secrets is great game if you enjoy playing games with a story behind them. Before I get into some specifics, there are two key things I want to mention. One, the game is huge- after the initial download there is a 250 MB download you need to do. And two, the game is free but it is only chapter 1 of the story!
City of Secrets is a point and click adventure game that is very well done. You are here to help Rex and Mr. Mole save Poco Pane. The graphics, game play, music, and story are very, very entertaining. Plus the humor in the game is awesome. The game will provide you hints and help if you need it but I always try not to use them. I like to give my brain a workout. It did not take me long to really get into the game. I played it both on my phone and tablet and I like it much better on the tablet since you will be doing a lot of exploring and clicking to find things.
While you play the game, you can earn credits, which can be used to unlock other chapters. I am not sure you do this since I did not seem to ever earn any. I did check though, if you want to purchase enough credits to unlock all of the chapters, it will only set you back a couple of dollars. Finally, I read online that a City of Secrets 2 is in the works!

This is a neat little puzzle game that I came across a while back. You job is the clear the board of the different color Gooletz or blobs before time runs out. If your Gooletz is red when you tap it, it will shoot off some particles that will either pop other red Gooletz or elp change the color of the green or yellow Gooletz.
Now the particles they shoot out will only go in certain directions so the challenge of the game is figure what which Gooletz you need to tap that will start a chain reaction to help clear the board. After you play a level or two, you will get the idea. The free version of the game comes with 10 rounds. If you purchase the full version, you will get unlimited rounds, up 20 bombs and some power ups.
