Lords Mobile X Pagani Is a Month-Long Event to Celebrate 8 Years of Service

Believe it or not, Lords Mobile is about to celebrate its 8th anniversary.

IGG’s all-conquering strategy MMO has been around for nearly a decade, and the studio is marking the occasion with a huge event bearing the slogan, “Time to CelebrEIGHT”.

And not just any event. Lords Mobile has partnered up with Italian hypercar brand Pagani to offer a host of motor-powered goodies, including the ability to race around the Kingdoms of Athena in a shiny new Zonda F Coupe.

Before we get down to brass tacks, here’s a quick Lords Mobile refresher for the uninitiated.

Released in February 2016, Lords Mobile is a massively multiplayer strategy game which combines base-building and real-time strategy.

The action takes place in a fantasy kingdom riven by war following the death of its Emperor. Countless lords are competing to take the throne, and you’re one of them. That means recruiting heroes, reinforcing your base, conducting battles, forging alliances, and more.

Lords Mobile X Pagani kicked off on February 1st and is set to run until February 29th, with all sorts of things happening between those dates.

For instance, the Pagani Grand Prix event sees you collecting achievements and earning in-game prizes. They include emotes, avatars, and an event-exclusive Castle Skin.

Then there’s the Pagani Puzzle event, which gives you the opportunity to win the Speedster Bundle. And here’s why you really want to win the Speedster Bundle.

Unlike other prizes, the Speedster Bundle contains a host of real-life goodies such as a giant Oathkeeper figure, a Logitech keyboard and mouse, a Lords Mobile branded powerpack, an electric toothbrush, and a pair of Lords Mobile X Bose earphones.

That’s a pretty sweet haul.

The Pagani Power event, set to run from February 11th until February 20th, simply sees you logging in every day and completing simple quests to earn Dice. These in turn allow you to race on the board, uncovering mystery tiles in the process.

Mystery tiles, meanwhile, give you Power Tokens for buying stuff at the Gift Shop.

And IGG is pushing the boat out even more for Lords Mobile’s 8th birthday with an audacious Guinness World Record attempt. The studio is seeking to claim the record for “Most contributions to an online ASCII image”.

Naturally, that means you can get involved too. If 80,000 players or more take part, every single one of them will have world record bragging rights.

The top 20 players in the Anniversary Challenges, meanwhile, each get a commemorative art book and other equally fun prizes.
