Lost Light, NetEase’s Soft-Launched Survival Shooter, Getting a Ranked Mode

Lost Light from NetEase, which soft-launched in a few different countries earlier in the year, is being updated with a new map and a ranked mode. A PC version, which allows you to continue with your Android account, is also being launched.

The new ranked mode builds on the game’s core idea of high-risk, high-reward. You need to collect battle cards to arrange an extraction by killing other players or NPCs, or scavenging loot.

The new map is called Pharmaceutical Company and features outdoor and indoor environments. There’s also a new weather and time system that can change the conditions of the map. Here’s a trailer.

The PC version of the game will feature cross play with the mobile version, with matchmaking weighted to players on the same platform. You can join forces with friends on any version, though.
