Second Dinner Studios has kicked off a new season for their game Marvel Snap, and it’s a cosmic ride with the Fantastic Four. The new chapter lands just in time to promote The Fantastic Four: First Steps movie.

But the Marvel Snap x Fantastic Four season actually leans more into the original comic book vibes. All members of the first family are here and they’re bringing some new modes into the game as well. Here are all the details!

What’s in store?

First and foremost, Reed Richards, better known as Mister Fantastic, is here. He brings a new card called Mister Fantastic First Steps. It lets you tweak a card in your hand at the end of each turn by either reducing its cost by 1 or giving it a power boost of 2.

Joining the lineup is the Fantasticar, offered as a Super Premium Series 4 reward. It buffs up all your end-of-turn cards by 2 power whenever you activate it.

Next, there are many new characters to collect, including H.E.R.B.I.E. from Series 5. It switches between abilities each turn, ranging from energy boosts to power-ups and even creating rocks with solid power values.

Human Torch brings a steady end-of-turn power boost, and he can double his power once per game when your side is packed. The Thing gains power each turn and even wipes out weaker enemy cards if the board is full. Invisible Woman lets your end-of-turn abilities fire twice in one go when you activate her.

Meanwhile, Mole Man and Mad Thinker are entering through limited-time events. Mole Man tosses rocks into your hand while banishing the top card of your deck. Mad Thinker quietly grows stronger if you’re holding a full hand every turn.

Now, let’s talk about the two new limited-time game modes. High Voltage returns from July 17th to 21st, bringing chances to collect unique cosmetics. Then there’s the new Grand Arena from July 24th to August 7th. It lets you pick a champion from eight iconic characters and dive in with prebuilt decks.
