Second Dinner has launched the latest season of Marvel Snap, the Masters of the Arcane. You can now dive into the world of mysticism and some of the more shadowy corners of Marvel’s character catalogue.
Masters of the Arcane Brings Different Characters to Marvel Snap
This time, the spotlight is on characters who rarely get the front page. Nicholas Scratch and Morgan Le Fay are first through the portal, kicking off the rollout today and leading up to July 1.
Joining them throughout the month are Merlin, The Ancient One, Nightmare, Dormammu, Clea, Kid Omega, Cobra, and Jennifer Kale. There’s also The Ancient One’s training days with the inclusion of the Astral Plane as a new location. It’s a place where illusions run wild.
Merlin, the season pass headliner, is definitely one talented wizard. In Marvel Snap, he brings some seriously unpredictable energy to each turn during the Masters of the Arcane season. His special ability to shuffle your weakest card for an energy bonus next turn can completely flip a match.

Try Out These New Features
From June 16th to 25th, you can try the High Voltage: Overdrive mode, a temporary twist on the usual High Voltage mode. Once five charge cards are played, the reactor explodes, and all bets are off. Completing missions in this mode will unlock Kid Omega and Cobra.
Two new locations are also part of the Masters of the Arcane season in Marvel Snap. Camelot cranks every card there to 5 Power after turn five. While Astral Plane introduces a zero-Power copy of a card from your hand at the end of each turn.
Also, starting June 10th, Marvel Snap’s first fully self-published build goes live. So, Second Dinner is taking complete control. And everything from customer support and in-game logins to the web shop will now be managed in-house.
