While we all wait for Square Enix to slowly, ever so slowly, bring Final Fantasy Dimensions to Android, since it’s already out on iOS, there is tradition that most Final Fantasy fans have long held close to their hearts. That is the tradition of finding porn magazines in-game as hidden Easter Eggs. It looks as though Final Fantasy Dimensions keeps this tradition live as well.
To be honest, I had forgotten about this little tradition since I’ve stopped playing Final Fantasy games after Final Fantasy VIII, since I didn’t like the way the series was going. Kotaku posted today a nice little article bringing back the memory of these Easter Eggs which I have long forgotten as there is a new one to find in Final Fantasy Dimensions. There have been these magazines hidden in-game since FF IV.
While we all wait for Final Fantasy Dimensions to actually be released onto Android at some point before we die, since Square Enix is painfully slow and bringing their games over to Android some times, let us reflect back on previous Final Fantasy titles and, especially, when we found our first dirty magazine in-game.
