Niantic is bringing a new kind of threat to Monster Hunter Now with its latest Autumn event. The event begins on November 20th. During the event, the Elder Dragon Malzeno is making its grand entrance in Monster Hunter Now.
Take on the terrifying yet majestic dragon
With its elegant silver scales and ominous power, Malzeno is one of the fiercest predators Monster Hunter Now has seen. It uses the Qurio to drain life energy from other living beings, stalking its prey at night before striking from the shadows. Once it absorbs enough energy, it transforms into a violent crimson form called the Bloodening.
The new phase of Monster Hunter Now is a full-scale event with layered systems, rewards, and a powerful monster. The event includes a paid ticket priced at $8.99, unlocking several benefits for participants.
If you purchase it, you’ll have no cooldowns when joining Elder Dragon Interceptions or Hunt-a-thons. These battles will exclusively feature Malzeno. Ticket holders will also earn special themed rewards like the Malzeno motif layered equipment and an exclusive Autumn Hunt 2025 sticker.

The quest lets you earn a unique hunter medal, an exclusive guild card background, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Malzeno Materials by slaying or repelling the beast.
Elder Dragon Interceptions will happen more frequently at the usual interception and Hunt-a-thon points. Meanwhile, the access range expands by 50% at all times. You’ll also gain double the materials from small monster hunts and gathering points.
The Elder Dragon’s arrival officially begins on November 20th, when it will appear in Elder Dragon Interceptions during the Autumn Hunt 2025 event. It runs from November 20th to 21st and again from November 22nd to 23rd. Get the game from the Google Play Store.
