More details and another screenshot of Mediocre’s Sprinkle 2 game

Back in December of last year we reported on Mediocre having announced that they were well underway with developing Sprinkle 2, a sequel for their rather popular physics-based puzzle game. The company has released more details about their upcoming game as well as another screenshot for us to check out.

While the original Sprinkle game had us putting out fires to save our friends and their huts, Mediocre has added a new game mechanic to Sprinkle 2 that we will all have to deal with and that is water… a lot more water. Only this time this extra water isn’t something we are going to be shooting at fires. Instead we will have to deal with floating onto of bodies of water while trying to put out fires so our little friends’ huts don’t burn down.

It doesn’t end there though. Players will also be able to travel between islands which are surrounded by water. That means players will have to keep an eye on all of the islands while solving puzzles in order to put out fires. This will definitely bring a new level of challenge to the game.

Unfortunately we still don’t know when Sprinkle 2 will be released onto Google Play. When we do know, we will post an update.
