More Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.7.0 update news: Buckets confirmed, milk and more

So as the 0.7.0 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition draws closer to release, more finalized details will be coming out so expect to see news regarding both the actual update as well as Minecraft Realms news to pick up in the immediate future. Some more features and details have been confirmed for the 0.7.0 update.

Yesterday we talked about how it was almost certain buckets would be arriving in the 0.7.0 update. This has now been officially confirmed by Jens Bergensten (a.k.a Jeb) as arriving in the upcoming update. The addition of Milk to the game was also confirmed to be arriving with this update and quite possibly Cake as well although the cake could be more of a joke, it’s hard to tell with Jeb sometimes.

Regarding Minecraft Realms, a new official forum has been set up over at Minecraft.net for all things related to the new multiplayer feature that Mojang will be hosting. Currently the service is in closed Alpha stage testing. We do also now know that those of you who want to start a server will not only be able to do it through the Mojang site itself but also through the actual game through an IAP should you want to get it right up and running.

For those of you still curious as to when the update will arrive, it is slated for the first week of May.
