The mobile version of Mortal Kombat X has received an update almost coinciding with the release of the new Predator (and others) character for the PC version. However, the update to the mobile version doesn’t have Predator in it, but it does have some new character variants available to collect.
The new update for Mortal Kombat X brings with it a new variant for three characters in the game: Jax, Mileena, and Liu Kang. The new variants are Flaming Fist Liu Kang, Piercing Mileena, and Heavy Weapons Jax. There are also new Revenant characters which are available through the new Netherrealm Packs. Buying a Revenant Pack costs 850 Souls and when you do get it, you’ll receive three gold cards: Revenant Sub-Zero, Revenant Jax, and Quan-Chi.
Along with the Netherealm Packs, Mortal Kombat X now has a new Equipment pack available as well. Buying one of these packs (70,000 gold) will net you three random equipment cards to use. There is also a chance to get the rare Wrath Hammer card from these new Equipment packs. It isn’t all new characters and packs though with this update.
The new Mortal Kombat X update has all new challenge for players to partake in as well as a new field of Towers to work your way through. So there’s actually new content in the game and not just a few new characters and packs. This update is now available for download off of Google Play.
