MU Origin 2 has just received another massive update. Version 2.2 of Webzen’s hugely popular MMORPG includes Abyss War, Abyss Tower of Allegiance, a new map, new quests, a maximum level increase, and a host of other new features and improvements.
The update also kicks off Abyss Season 8, which will last until March 11th.
Abyss War will allow different guild members to occupy territories in capture-the-flag skirmishes. All guild members in Abyss World are eligible to join, and there are three different territories to dominate: A, B, and C.
You need to work your way up from C to A, and if you make it you’ll get an Honor Title. Your Guild Master will get one too, along with an additional Mount.
The Abyss Tower of Allegiance is a new tower where guild members can cooperate to clear the floors. It’s only available between 21.30 and 22.00 on Tuesdays and Fridays, and your guild needs to be at least level 8.
Three new Guardian Pets have been added, too. They’re called Goldceros, Aura, and Mermaid Princess.
Unstoppable expansion
The 2.2 update also expands the game in several ways. For one thing, it allows for Multiple Title Activation. That means you can have up to ten titles active at once.
Then there’s Seal Evolve, which lets you combine three Epic Seals to create a Legendary Seal.
New floors have been added to the Infinite Tower, bringing it up to 150, and the level cap has increased too. A character’s max level is now 899, or Master Level V 99. To get there you’ll need to complete Master Level IV 99.
There’s more. Much more, including a VIP Altar, a new map, new quests and achievements, elite monsters, and a host of bug fixes. To see it all you’ll just have to get stuck in.
