Netflix has added a new interactive title to its mobile lineup with Best Guess Live. It’s a weekday game show built around fast guesses and shared prize pools. It’s one of a kind and will definitely remind you of HQ Trivia.
Netflix Best Guess Live is a mobile weekday game show
Live broadcast, real-time participation and cash rewards: these are the three things that make up the game. You get to participate in live competition against players across the US. The show runs every Monday through Friday at 8 PM ET and 5 PM PT.
The game airs live only in the US, and you can log in each weekday to improve your odds over time. Because each episode offers two chances to win, even players who miss out early can stay in the game and try again during the second round.
The game asks players to identify a mystery item hidden inside a crystal ball using a sequence of clues. Each episode lasts roughly 30 minutes and is split into two separate puzzles. You’re given five clues, each one more revealing than the last. After every clue, there is a 20-second window to type in an answer.
The first puzzle is more approachable, so it has a smaller prize pot. The second puzzle raises both the difficulty and the payout. Across the full episode, there is $15K (yep, 15,000 dollars!) in prize money available. But then, how much any individual player might win depends on how many people arrive at the correct answer and how early they do so.

It’s Howie Mandel and Hunter March. Yes, Mandel is the guy from America’s Got Talent, Canada’s Got Talent, and Deal or No Deal. March joins him from Netflix’s baking competition Sugar Rush. His previous hosting work includes The Daily Report and #DearHunter on AwesomenessTV.
