Hotta Studio’s Neverness to Everness, aka NTE, is kicking off its Containment Test today. If you’re wondering what that means, well, it’s nothing but the game’s closed beta test. Yep, simple things are getting fancy terms nowadays.

After plenty of anticipation, players finally get to step inside Hethereau, the city where the game is set. It’s a place where humans share the streets with strange, reality-bending Anomalies.

Unfortunately, applications for this beta have already closed. But fortunately, there’s still a chance to sneak in through Twitch. By linking a PWG account and watching participating Twitch streams, viewers can win access just by tuning in. This system runs from July 3rd to 7th.

What Can Players Expect in the Neverness to Everness Containment Test?

You take on the role of an Appraiser, a rogue Anomaly Hunter who operates without a license. Your job is to explore every hidden corner of Hethereau, track down the unpredictable Anomalies, and uncover the deeper secrets.

The Containment Test also introduces major new features and areas of Neverness to Everness. You can roam two freshly unlocked districts in Hethereau. First is New Herland, a district dominated by towering skyscrapers and home to powerful corporations and the city’s most competitive Anomaly Hunters.

Then there’s the Miguel District, a green getaway that draws citizens looking to escape the concrete jungle. With sweeping scenic belts and towering landmarks, it offers a calm front that masks potential dangers lurking beneath the tourist-friendly exterior.

You can grab any vehicle you come across and drive wherever you please. But there’s a multi-level wanted system that reacts to your crimes, so beware. You can also challenge street racing crews and team up with friends for an underground race.

Catch a glimpse of what’s in store in this CBT. And head over to the official website to see if you can earn a spot via Twitch.
