DeNA has sent us word that they will be hosting two major raid boss events in two of their games this week and it will be all about the dragons… big dragons. Both Hellfire and D.O.T. Defender of Texel will be getting a raid boss event where players will have to deal with dragons in one way or another. However, with great risk comes great rewards.
D.O.T. Defender of Texel – Twilight of Dragons event
D.O.T. Defender of Texel is an 8-bit (although it looks more like 16-bit) pixel art filled RPG where the world was filled with nothing but peace and happiness until the land was invaded by killer robots. The event in this game is called Twilight of Dragons where players will go on a quest to find dragons and dracomis (their human kindred) and empower them to defeat alien invaders. This event also introduces a supercharged fighter “VULCA,” as well as the “TIERED BUILD,” a new mechanism for acquiring fighters.
In this event, players will journey to a sacred mountain where the dragons dwell. Hunted to near-extinction by the mechanized aliens, the surviving dragons and dracomis are in hiding. Players must find these exceptional warriors before they are destroyed and together launch a raid on the enemy base.
This event will be running starting today and ending March 10th, 2013.

Hellfire – Dragon Lord Awakening
DeNA’s popular TCG title Hellfire is the second game that will be host to a raid boss event. Instead of trying to get dragons on your side and launching a raid to take down an enemy base, this particular event has players teaming up to take down a few different dragons bosses.
As the story goes for this event, the Elemental Dragon Lords once ruled the skies, seas, and lands of Hellfire before vanishing. Now these primordial forces are awakening one by one to reclaim their former realms. Mighty Dragon Slayers rally to drive back the attacks, but they have never faced dragons like these.
Players have the option to collect the Slayers: Ella, Harris and Senn to do bonus damage before teaming up with hundreds of other players simultaneously to defeat each powerful boss and compete for the spoils. This event begins March 8th and runs until March 20th, 2013.
