[Updated] Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath arrives onto Android on Amazon’s AppStore

OddWorld Inhabitants has released a new Oddworld game onto Android over on the Amazon AppStore called Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath. For those of you not familiar with this game, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath has a Western theme to it, except everything is filled with different alien species.

The original version of this game was released back in 2005 but this version has been revamped, not only with new controls for mobile gameplay, but also new visuals to check out. In this game you’ll be tracking down criminal and will have to employ different strategies in order to bring them in. This can range from luring them in, taking them by surprise, or just beating them in an all-out gunfight.

Oddworld games have plenty of humor in them as well. It makes for a good mix of fun and seriousness in their storylines. There is also full gamepad support as well which should make a lot of people happy, although the touch controls for this game were developed from the ground-up specifically for this type of gameplay.

Right now, if you have access to Amazon’s AppStore, you can pick up a copy of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath for $5.99. As for when this game will land on Google Play, we don’t know that as of yet. Hopefully this isn’t one of those 3 month exclusives with Amazon.
