Official Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect game gets its first trailer

Back in the beginning of December 2014 we reported on an official Son of Anarchy mobile game that would be heading our way in the earlier part of 2015. This game, which is officially titled Son of Anarchy: The Prospect, will be a team effort from developers Silverback Games and Orpheus, both of which are located in Canada, as well as Kurt Sutter and the rest of the team behind the TV show.

When we first reported on this game coming soon to mobile, there wasn’t a whole lot of details available about it. Now that we have a trailer to look at, we can derive a little more information about this game and what it all will entail. This game will be based off of the SoA universe and will be a decision-driven episodic adventure game (although this one looks like it has more action to it), something we’ve seen released already with other games like Game of Thrones.

Interestingly enough, the art style is not what we thought it would be as it has a bit more of a cartoon-ish look to it. The trailer is being described as a ‘rough cut’ which means plenty of what we see in it could change including the art style itself. Even though it isn’t what we expected to see in terms of art style, it does look pretty solid anyways.

As for the storyline, even though it is based off of the Sons of Anarchy universe, it won’t be based off of the TV show and will instead feature an original story that focuses on another chapter of the Son of Anarchy MC and not the Charming one which was in the show. Since Kurt Sutter is involved, it should be interesting to see how this story turns out.

Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect will be released sometime in the early part of this year but there is still no official release date announced as of yet. When it does launch it will come with the first episode and additional ones will follow shortly afterwards.
