Developer and publisher INUTAN is dropping a new game on Android. It’s called OverField and is a light-hearted, cosy adventure RPG. The global release is set for tomorrow, November 6th. And there are a bunch of launch rewards and special events lined up already. So, keep reading to find out all about it.
You’ll be at the edge of science and the supernatural
In OverField, you join Rota Tech as new Exploration Captains. You take tests, build teams, and uncover the mysteries of a strange dimension known as the Open Space. It’s a space where technology and otherworldly forces collide.
The game’s world is built like a living diorama, with miniature-style 3D environments like those of an animated film. It’s a mix of fantasy and realism where you can freely shift between Reality and the Pocket Dimension.
Every area is full of small details, hidden items, and puzzles. But since it’s a light-hearted game, combat doesn’t take itself too seriously. The rhythm-based battles bring a charming twist to the otherwise eerie setting.
OverField also gives you plenty of room for self-expression. Team-building lets you recruit and bond with a range of personalities, from a scatterbrained scout to a tech geek with an attitude. Your squad is a bunch of companions whose personalities gradually unfold as you progress.
The game gives you the ability to dye 20 parts of clothing. And you can also furnish dream bases with over 20 furniture themes, ranging from retro cafés to futuristic command centres.
And then, there’s the Rota Plaza in OverField
The Rota Plaza acts as a cosy hub where you can slow down and chill. You can unwind alone on a hammock in the woods or join others for BBQ parties, soccer matches, and cosplay contests. It’s a blend of peaceful daily life and lively social interaction.
The game’s Version 1.0 launch kicks off with several timed events. From November 6th to November 20th, the Limited Recruitment will feature the debut of a new SSR character, Aurele. Then, between November 9th and November 16th, the Sakura Days event tasks you to grow a sakura tree for daily rewards.
Lastly, the Fireworks event will light up the server from November 14th to November 16th at 8 PM daily. New players can also claim a free Explorer Starter Pack for a limited time after launch. So, gear up for this exciting new game; get it from the Google Play Store.
