Doomsday: Last Survivors And FAIRY TAIL Team Up This July

Zombie survival game Doomsday: The Last Survivors, and the fantasy anime FAIRY TAIL aren’t necessarily something you’d picture together, and that’s made the upcoming collaboration between the two pique our curiosity more than most. The upcoming Journey to Another World event is set to run all through July, and it’s packed with crossover content that both fans of the game, and fans of the anime and manga might appreciate.

Let The Games Begin

First, there’s the in-game event itself.

The Otherworld Grand Magic Games brings a new event, the Games Siege Battle. In this limited event, you need to take on zombies as you advance up the ten floor Empire State Tower. As you do, you may get lucky and encounter Erza, who will reward you with the exclusive Erza Scarlet shelter skin.

That’s not the extent of the rewards, though. The further you make it up the tower, the more event currency you’ll get, which you can exchange in the event shop for limited-edition FAIRY TAIL themed rewards, including a Lucy Heartfilia hero skin, and an Acnologia Biochemical beast.

To access the tower, you will need Game Coins, and you earn these through taking part in the Grand Magic Games, with points awarded based on the surviving players on the field.

Along with the tower, you can also visit the Games Training Camp, where there are free rewards up for grabs, and daily missions to earn event rewards.

You can upgrade the camp too for extra rewards. Some of these rewards include various cosmetics, including a FAIRY TAIL Shelter Skin.

You’ll also get a chance to donate Cheer Items to their pick for Star Of The Games to increase their Cheer Level and earn even more cosmetic rewards.

Special Site

It’s not all in-game, either. The collab also brings a special event website, where you and the rest of the community can take part in special commissions by visiting pages, participating each day, and sharing things.

The Doomsday: Last Survivors x FAIRY TAIL collaboration is now underway, download it for free on PC, Android, or iOS and experience it yourself. If you’d like to find out more about the game, we’d suggest taking a peek at their Facebook, or joining the Discord community
